Honeywell HE360A Whole House Powered Humidifier

Customer Review

I purchased this outdated unit because of the low price. Instructions to install were easy to follow and it went well. I used a current sensor switch which was also easy to set up and the unit is doing very well. We were dealing with humidity levels as low as 21A% during winter months. We have set the humidistat at approximately 42-43 and it keeps humidity levels ranging from 38-41%. We are very happy with this system.
Aprilaire Model 600 Automatic Whole-house Bypass Humidifier with Digital Control

Customer Review
This is a highly sophisticated humidifier. I consider myself to be a fairly handy homeowner but after receiving the item and reading the directions I opted to pay a professional for the install. I am glad that I did. I had estimates in my area to do the install between $250 and $350 over the cost of the unit.
Everything on this unit is automatic. A hard wire runs outside of the house to monitor the outside air temperature.
The only question that I had before I bought the unit was weather the 3 gallons per hour of water ran 24/7 or not. The answer is that it does not. A solenoid only lets the water run when the unit needs to add humidity.
I am more satisfied with this product than I expected to be.

Milwaukee 6509-22 Sawzall 11-Amp Reciprocating Saw

Customer Review
I have an old Sawzall...it came in a metal case rather than a plastic one. Everything mentioned about it in the other reviews is true, it's a very versatile tool. It will seemingly cut through anything...my son whacked off a Master padlock in about five seconds recently. You should plan on buying blades, lots of blades!
I would not advise this as one's first or only power saw. It's really not meant for long, straight cuts, although you can do them with practice. But as a second saw, for demolition, for large branch trimming, pipe and metal cutting, it's a gem. This is the right tool for so many jobs!

Usually it's part of a bigger demo. A bulk head or soffit above the cabinets is one way to rout to the outside wall. Another option is a downdraft type. Intertape 5008 181AP Aluminum Foil Tape 2.5-Inches x 60-Yards

Customer Review

My air handler is a horizontal installation (in attic) and the distribution box is made of fiberglass. The box was taped to the metal air handler blower outlet frame 3 years ago when new. The original tape had deteriorated and the box was nearly detached from the air handler, causing a big air leak. I removed the old tape and used this product to reattach the air box to the air handler. This tape was relatively easy to peal the paper layer off and wide enough to grip enough of the air box and handler frame. I used a couple of rows of tape to attach the box and also used this tape to reinforce the main and secondary fiberglass flex ducts where they attach to the air box.
Stanley 89-870 8-Inch Long Nose Pliers with Cutter

Customer Review

A man loves a good tool, and love exists between me and these pliers. They're great, and pretty, too! Get a pair, and you too will smile.

Malco C5XXX Pipe Crimper

Customer Review
Works great on sheet metal tubing like air duct or on gutter down-spouts; the tool helps create a male fitting to slide duct type metal parts together. I learned that the three blades should be on the outside, while the two blades are on the inside of sheet metal tube, this helps create the reduced radius opening so that parts can slide together. Sure beats trying to use two pairs of pliers to crinkle/create a duct reduction or pinch seams together.
