Customer Review
I'm doing a bit of remodeling and needed something with a bit more punch to it than just a claw hammer. Didn't want to step up to a full sledge since its mostly inside work so I looked around for a good hand sledge. Looked in local stores; Lowes, Home depot etc. Depending on sales, this one is slightly cheaper for more hammer.
It has a nice long handle which gives some more swing power. It also feels nicely balanced so it doesn't seem to take effort to wield it. So far it has held up well although I haven't really gotten into the big projects yet. But the handle has taken some abuse and still looks good. If it falls apart anytime soon I'll update but so far I feel like I've made a good purchase and would get again.

Customer Review
I was extremely pleased that I purchased this tool. I had a metal roof put on my home and there was enough scrap pieces left that I was able to cut the pieces and use for my shed roof. If I didn't have this tool my hands would have fallen off. The tool for the price worked great. After doing an initial test cut you get a feel for how to use the tool to manage going over the ribs of the metal.

Customer Review
I ordered online after being unable to find a good sturdy box with METAL hinges that don't fall off and get lost or break easily. This is very well designed, sturdy, lots of room in it but not too big or heavy. I bought 4 more to keep various tools in to store and transport easily. Even the latches are engineered on an angle so they do not catch when sliding it in or out of the truck -they won't break. This is a great value at twice the price. Quick shipping too, very pleased.

Customer Review
The two things I'm absolutely loving for in a tool belt - long life, and enough space for the critical tools I use the most. This belt has both. First - I've only had it for about 2 weeks, but so far it seems very solid, well-made, and should last quite a while. Its constructed of treated lather, and the stitching is heavy duty. Secondly, It had room fro several screw drivers, two hammers, two hardware pouches (screws, nails, whatever), a tape measure, and room for 5-6 other hand tools. The belt is sturdy enough to a lot support a separate (NOT INCLUDED) drill holster. This means I have enough room in the belt to store the things that will keep me from going up and down the ladder a million times to get the next tool. Crucial. This belt overall is solid, priced reasonably (when I purchased it), looks great, and is roomy enough for my needs. Recommended.

Customer Review
Just purchased this drill/driver and since it is so new to the marketplace none of us can really comment of it's longevity or wear characteristics, but based upon it's predecessor and first impressions, it is going to do just fine. It is a small, lightweight powerhouse that does what it says it does and does it better than anything else comparable. Even with Amazons current DeWalt promotion it matches the price with an arguably inferior product, no thanks. But then I have always preferred Makita to DeWalt from construction jobs to Industrial maintenance jobs. I guess the point of this review is that this Makita continues that legacy and does so well.
My critiques: A poorly designed but very well made case. (needs more and specific cord space and better compartments for accessories or needs to be smaller).
Melody selection on the charger could be at least as good as my daughter’s jewelry box.
The battery cover is weak and poorly fitting.
Other than that or perhaps in spite of that, I'm quite pleased.

Its high-power frameless motor, variable-speed trigger, and ergonomic design all contribute to easy handling, while the exclusive, XRP extended run time battery system lets you work until the job at hand is complete.
Customer Review
Best. Tool. Ever.
I actually got this tool when I bought the 6-tool set that comes in a contractor bag. I really bought the set for the reciprocating saw, the circular saw, the grinder, and the "normal" drill. My attitude toward the impact driver was more or less, "eh, that thing looks pretty wimpy". Well, that was two months ago, before I completely re-framed half of a house...

- Extra-strength magnet for superior bit retention
Customer Review
I have had a lot of these nut driver sets, including some older DeWalt and newer Milwaukee. This set holds and drives the screws and nuts as good or better than the several I've owned and used. So far, the durability is better than most. This is the first set I've gotten with a 1/2" socket, as most off the sleeve sets don't have it. I really like having that 1/2" driver for driving small lag screws. Another nice feature is the socket size lables on them, which show even in dim light.
It could only be better if it included a metric set too. I could really use a good 10 MM driver.

Customer Review
First off, if you put this side to side with a corded super Saw-zall, the Saw-zall will win hands down. For what it is, the Makita is a truly amazing product.
Some quick points / comments:
Never had any problems with changing the blades and I regularly get mine full of mud using it with a long blade to cut out tree roots.
The Batteries last about 12 minutes if your using it really hard, and they get very hot and take 30-40 minutes before they are charged again, due to the additional time required to cool them. If you’re going to really use this saw hard on a regular basis, buy more batteries.
I used this saw with a 12" blade in it to cut down a 47 year old spruce tree when my chain saw wasn't available. It was over 15" thick. Took the saw a while, but it did it.
I've cut metal, plaster, metal lath, 4x4's, lots of conduit, lots of tree trimming / pruning, etc. It's really worked well on all of it.
One suggestion, you get what you pay for in terms of blades. I think the Bosch blades are some of the very best. Lenox blades are also very good, but tend to warp from the heat during heavy use more than the Bosch blades do. The Milwaukee blades are pretty decent.
It likely won't replace your super saw-zall for really heavy demo work, but for everything else, I think it is just an amazing tool.

Customer Review
Picked this up yesterday after being aggravated at my cordless Milwaukee hammer drill that was taking 4 or 5 minutes to drill a 3/16" x 1.5" hole in brick. Compared to my 18V Ni-cad cordless, this Bosch is great. It chewed through holes in about 15 or 20 seconds. The build quality seems pretty good. I think the depth gauge is pretty cheap. It's plastic. I think they should have added a dollar or two to the price and made the gauge out of aluminum. The handle attached solidly and I had no problems with it or with bit slippage, as others have mentioned. I chose this drill over a similar DeWalt because of both the reputation and my previous experience with Bosch tools. The Bosch also comes with a case, whereas the DeWalt did not. I'll see how this drill holds up and will report back with any problems.

Milwaukee 6509-22 Saw-zall 11-Amp Reciprocating Saw
Buy This Product Below
Product Description
About this Saw-zall Model
The 11 amp Saw-zall from Milwaukee is durable and super light -- weighing in at just 7 pounds, for the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. This small but tough saw offers a variable speed trigger that sends the blade from 0-2,800 strokes per minute, with a 3/4-inch stroke length and a Quik-Lok blade clamp for fast, tool-less blade changes.
The 6509-22 is chock full of convenience features that will make it a go-to pick that never gathers dust in your garage. Its rubber boot provides superior gripping for real control and exceptional accuracy, and the adjustable shoe gives you longer blade life and more cut control. You can even clamp the blades upside down for special cutting circumstances. Double insulated with a double-bearing wobble plate mechanism for smoother handling, this saw also boasts a heavy-duty 'S' jacket and an 8-foot, 2-wire cord.
This Saw-zall uses standard 1/2-inch shank Saw-zall blades, and one is included with this kit -- plus a carrying case to keep everything together and organized.
Applications
The 6509-22 is the perfect choice for any task that requires a reciprocating saw; and depending on your Saw-zall blade choice, you'll find that it cuts easily through wood and plastics, metal, pipes, and even wood with nails in it.
Choosing a Saw-zall Blade
When selecting a Saw-zall blade, first consider your project. Each Saw-zall blade style has a series of icons on its packaging -- and these icons demonstrate the materials which the blades are best-suited to cut. There's a separate icon for a variety of materials, including wood, plastics, wood with nails, and metal.
Technical Details
- 11 amp reciprocating, variable speed (0-2,800 stroke per minute), quick-lock blade clamp 3/4-inch stroke length, double bearing wobble plate reduces vibrations
- Rubber boot for enhanced grip, center pivot adjustable shoe
- 7 pounds, 3/4-inch stroke length
- Includes saw, 1 blade and case
Customer Review
I have an old Saw-zall...it came in a metal case rather than a plastic one. Everything mentioned about it in the other reviews is true, it's a very versatile tool. It will seemingly cut through anything...my son whacked off a Master padlock in about five seconds recently. You should plan on buying blades, lots of blades! Because it's so versatile, one is tempted to undertake a cutting task with the wrong blade, which can be frustrating if not dangerous. So always match the blade to the task.
I would not advise this as one's first or only power saw. It's really not meant for long, straight cuts, although you can do them with practice. But as a second saw, for demolition, for large branch trimming, pipe and metal cutting, it's a gem. This is the right tool for so many jobs!

The new hole saw also features up to twice the life of the previous model when cutting metal. An enhanced tooth geometry, a thin kerf design and an advanced coating contribute to the efficiency of the cutting process by removing material faster, therefore generating less heat while cutting (3/4-Inch, 7/8-Inch, 1-1/8-Inch, 1-3/8-Inch, 1-3/4-Inch, 2-Inch, 2-1/2-Inch, 2-11/16-Inch, 3-Inch, 3-5/8-Inch, 4-1/8-Inch, 4-3/4-Inch, SNAP-BACK Arbors: 2L, 5L, 3 pilot drill bits).

Customer Review
I bought this saw about a month ago and I love that it is so light compared to the Milwaukee saws. I am normally a Milwaukee guy , but I wanted to try a different brand so I took a chance on Makita. I own a lot of Makita tools just not there saws . I am a carpenter and I need stuff to last because it gets used every day for 8+ hours. After I used the saw I love the balance and weight I also think the LED work light is a nice thing to have in low light conditions. All around I would recommend to all people that need a saw that is built to last!!!
