Tips on fabricating metal at home to make my own pipe sections to replace exhaust vent connections.
Yes, of course, I know these kinds of tips, but for exhaust vent, you would be better of buying the genuine stuff.
We would like to install a range hood that vents to the outside. The oven is on an interior wall. We have a two story home. Is this a possibility? What would you suggest?
Usually it's part of a bigger demo. A bulk head or soffit above the cabinets is one way to rout to the outside wall. Another option is a downdraft type. The system has a vent at counter level and uses a pretty powerful fan to suck the fumes down and out. The vent is routed through the basement or the base cabinets to an outside wall.
